AGAFAY DESERT EXPERIENCE – HALF DAY TRIP
Itinerary
15:00 – Departure from Marrakech
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive (about 45 minutes) through the outskirts of Marrakech toward the rocky desert of Agafay.
16:00 – Arrival in Agafay Desert & Welcome Tea
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a traditional Moroccan mint tea in a Berber-style desert camp.
16:30 – Camel Ride
Dress in traditional nomad clothing (optional for photos) and begin a peaceful camel ride through the golden hills of Agafay. Enjoy views of the Atlas Mountains in the background and stop for photos.
17:30 – Quad Biking Adventure
After the camel ride, you’ll begin a 1-hour quad bike ride (single or double) across the desert terrain, supervised by a professional guide. Safety gear (helmet, goggles) is provided.
19:00 – Sunset Dinner in the Desert
Back at the camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner served in a beautifully decorated desert tent or under the stars. Menu includes Moroccan salad, chicken or vegetarian tagine, couscous, fruit or dessert, and mint tea.
Optional Entertainment:
Some camps offer live music (Gnawa or Berber), fire show or drummers around the campfire.
21:00 – Return to Marrakech
After dinner, your driver will take you back to your accommodation in Marrakech. Arrival expected between 21:45 and 22:15.
